But here are the announcements so far…
THE BRITALIAN JOB
The Britalian Job. A trio of red, white and blue Mini Coopers will recreate the famous chase scene from The Italian Job by stealing Gold Bullion from a Security van and making off with a tightly choreographed routine set to music from the iconic film. Comic capers and exciting stunt sequences will ensue and pyrotechnic special effects will thrill the audience as the doors are blown off and the heist gets underway. Great music and seamless precision driving continue are guaranteed to delight the whole family.THE SHEEP SHOW is EDU-tainment at its best. A live stage show offering up to 4 x 30 minute shows a day, appearing at over 120 outdoor shows throughout the country from the Orkney Isles to the Royal Cornwall. Presented in humorous kiwi style the show introduces us to 9 different breeds of sheep, each with a story to tell and are welcomed on to the stage by their own theme tune.
THE SHEEP SHOW
The Sheep Show is edu-tainment at its best.
‘Lenny the Lincoln Long wool’ arrives to a great Bob Marley tune (very apt for a sheep that has natural dread locks). We are then given a very informative shearing display and learn more about wool. However, just to add to this already humorous but educational show, the sheep then do The Sheep Show Shuffle, Yes Dancing sheep.
THE ROCKWOOD HOUNDS
The Rockwood Harriers were established in 1868 by Walter Norton of Denby Dale. They presently trail hunt the West Yorkshire area with some country on the Eastern side on loan from the Badsworth Hunt. They are bounded by Huddersfield, Mirfield, Horbury, Barnsley, Stocksbridge, Holmfirth & Bretton.
They dress in the traditional harrier colour of hunting green with members wearing the ‘old gold collar’ exclusive to this hunt. The kennels presently have 25 1/2 couple of hounds and are based at Blacker Farm, Emley, Huddersfield. At the show Joe Carby, Derry Wells and Peter Downs will be parading the hounds. Joe is the current Huntsman, Derry is the Kennelman in charge of the hounds at kennels and Peter is a whipper in who all work together on a hunting day.
THE YORKSHIRE AIR AMBULANCE
Watch the helicopters land, then see them up close, meet the crews, and see the work that the team does.
The Yorkshire Air Ambulance needs to raise £12,000 per day to keep both of their Yorkshire Air Ambulance’s helicopters maintained and in the air. The donations they receive go directly into the life saving service provided. However, as an independent Charity they rely on the generosity of those who support the service to continue to save lives across Yorkshire.
You can help the Yorkshire Air Ambulance continue to save lives across the region and make a difference to someone who needs the Charity’s help.
